Summer Siesta 2023 is a 5-day, 4-night luxury respite for brown girls that would like to take a breather and slow down the busy pace of all things adulting. This is definitely not the turn-up. This is 4 nights in adults-only, all-inclusive, luxury where you can rest, hang out, get some Vitamin D, and enjoy some grown girl kicking it.
Our host resort offers:
- Meals in 8 Mexican and International specialty restaurants, a coffee shop, and 8 bars to enjoy refreshing beverages.
- 24-Hour Suite Service available the whole stay with crafted menus to enjoy in the comfort of your suite.

- Minibar daily restocked with water, soft drinks, beers, juice and snacks.
- A state-of-the-art gym with beautiful views , fully equipped with weights, cardiovascular machines, and fitness guided activities to stay in shape.
- Non-motorized sports including kayak tours, snorkel, beach tennis, functional training, aerobic walks, pool and beach aerobics, bicycle tours in the area, and many other activities.
The 2023 Summer Siesta Package Includes:
- 4 nights in luxury Playa Mujeres resort, with ocean view suite, 1 King or 2 Queen Beds
- All meals and beverages at the resort
- Roundtrip shared transportation from Cancun airport to Atelier resort
- Catamaran group sailing experience (to include beverages, snacks and transportation).

This travel package does not include:
- Roundtrip flights from the US to Mexico (airport code: CUN).
- Additional excursions not listed in itinerary
- Passport fees
- Country entrance fee ($10 USD)
- Non-specified meals that aren’t listed in the itinerary
- Gratuities to service staff, tour guides and drivers
- Travel insurance – which is highly recommended as all payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable. This is how you can protect your investment if unforseen circumstances arise.

Passports Are Needed for This Experience
Passports must be valid through January 20, 2024 to be able to travel.
You will also need TWO blank pages in your passport to travel.

- Your remaining balance will be split up into equal monthly payments from deposit date to final payment date

Please Note: Invoices are emailed monthly. You may click through on your invoice at anytime to make a payment. Additionally, you may make a payment at any time of any amount over $100 via PayPal here. Please make sure to put your name and trip name in the comments. When making payments via PayPal, please expect an updated statement to be emailed to you within 48 business hours.
When you (and your roommate/s) are ready to make your deposits, please click the link below and complete the deposit form. If you are rooming with someone, both deposits will have to be paid in order to secure your reservation. Once the deposit has been made, a payment schedule will be automatically generated for the remaining months until final payment. If you fall more than three months behind in payment, your reservation is subject to cancellation.
Change & Cancellation Policy
Please note, once deposits are made, you are locked in with roommates. There is a $200/reservation Cultured Vacations fee for any changes (i.e. changing room type, changing names (i.e Jenn was roommate – can no longer go – now Brandi is my roommate) + any additional fees that the travel suppliers implement.
All payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended, that way if you have to cancel, you may receive some form of reimbursement by failing a claim with your chosen insurance company. We like to work with TravelGuard/AIG, and have included a link for more information below. If you have any questions, please reach out to the insurance company directly. If you need to cancel your trip, please reach out to the insurance company to process your claim (after emailing a cancellation notice with the agency).
We understand things happen sometimes and your trip is no longer feasible. If you need to cancel your reservation, please submit your cancellation in writing via email to jenn@culturedvacations.com at least 72 hours prior to check-in time to be honored. Any cancellations that come within the 72 hour travel window will forfeit all funds. No exceptions.
Please keep in mind, if you are in a roommate situation and you are cancelling, the remaining roommate will then move to single occupancy rate and will be required to pay the current single occupancy rate at the time the change is made (which is more money).
