Parisian Experience
DAY 1
Arrive Paris Charles De Galle (CDG) airport. After clearing customs and immigration, meet your private driver in the Arrivals Hallway to whisk you away to your boutique hotel – right in the heart of the 8th Arrondissement. Use the rest of the day to get adjusted to the time difference and learn your area.
DAY 2
After enjoying your breakfast, with your choices of eggs, waffles, crepes, bacon and other French delicacies you will spend the day touring the Latin Quarter learning about African American literary greats who held residency in Paris. After exploring this area, stop by Café Tournon for lunch where notable authors like Alexander Dumas and Richard Wright would spend time chopping it up about current projects and world events. That evening you will indulge in a tasting session – experiencing different wines from different regions.
DAY 3
You’ll start your day with breakfast and then head out to tour the Louvre museum with a small group. While the Louvre is busy – your small group will have to skip the line access and be whisked away to some of the highlights of the museum like the Mona Lisa. While this tour will only last a few hours, you may feel free to explore the museum all day. Spend the rest of the day on your own – exploring the city and don’t forget to pick up a macaron!
DAY 4
After breakfast, go sightseeing at your leisure on a double-decker bus. This is a great way to see special sights like the Eiffel Tower, Palace of Notre Dame and the Arc de Triumph. Walk down the famed Champps de Elysses, also known historically was an avenue where marches and activism happened, now filled with retailers. After riding the double-decker bus you’ll cruise the Seine River to see Paris by water.
DAY 5
This is your last day to enjoy Paris. After breakfast, do your last little bit of shopping and head to Latin Quarter in the evening for some great live music.
DAY 6
Your private driver will meet you at your hotel 4 hours prior to your departure back to the states. Grab your last croissant for breakfast and head back home.
