Cultured Vacations 2019 South Africa Experience

Johannesburg & Cape Town, South Africa

November 2 – 9, 2019

Hey Cultured Vacationers!

Join us for a cultured 7 night experience in South Africa, as we tour Johannesburg and Cape Town and enjoy the culture, the food and great company.

Itinerary is as follows:

  • Nov 1, depart the states for Johannesburg (RT flight from States not included)
  • Nov 2, upon arriving to Johannesburg, and clearing customs, you will be met by a local representative who will transfer you to the Radisson Blu Gauteng. Get settled and get some rest because we have lots of epic-ness ahead!
  • Nov 3, enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then get ready for a full day tour of Johannesburg and Soweto! We’ll check out the  Apartheid Museum and later have the opportunity to discover Nelson Mandela’s house, where we will learn about his family’s history and time spent in Soweto. (Breakfast included)
  • Nov 4, after breakfast at the hotel , we will be transferred to the airport to throw up the deuces to Johannesburg and head to the “Mother City” as known by the locals, AKA Cape Town.  Upon arrival in Cape Town, we will be met by a local representative that will transport us to Cape Milner, our home base for our stay in Cape Town. (Breakfast included)
  • Nov 5, after breakfast at the hotel we will tour Cape Town with Table Mountain (#views y’all!) and spend the afternoon visiting the townships to see notable places. (Breakfast included)
  • Nov 6, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we venture off for our safari day! Over 1,200 wild animals can be seen on our game drive. You will want to pack a selfie stick for sure to capture pics of you and all of God’s creation.  (Breakfast included)
  • Nov 7, fuel up with breakfast before we make our way to the V&A Waterfront to board the ferry to Robben Island.  For 400 years, Robben Island was a place of imprisonment.  It was here that Nelson Mandela and the founding leader of the Pan Africanist Congress, Robert Manaliso Sobukwe were imprisoned.   We will take the ferry back to the waterfront to explore on our own. (Breakfast included)
  • Nov 8, you know the drill.  Start the day with breakfast and we will head to the Cape.  I mean what’s a visit to Cape Town without seeing the beauty of the cape?  We’ll have an afternoon lunch, do some light shopping and come back to enjoy the rest of the day on your own, with a group farewell dinner. (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner included)
  • Nov 9, after breakfast, we will say our goodbyes and head back to The States!

This is definitely going to be a memorable journey to South Africa, and we hope you can join us!

Important Information

You will need to have a passport to travel to South Africa, and it must be valid for six months after you return from the trip.  If your passport is due to expire before May 12, 2020, you will need to renew it before traveling. Failure to do so may prevent you from traveling or entering back into the States — neither is a good look!

Let’s Talk Reservations & Payments

Making reservations for this package signifies your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.  The deposit per traveler is a non-refundable payment of $150/person.

Reservations must be made with your full government name and birth dates as they appear on your passport.  Any changes to the information provided will result in a change fee of $50/person.

Prices are subject to change without notice. A deposit is the only way to lock in rates.

If you are electing to room with someone (double occupancy), both of you must pay your initial deposits at the same time in order for the rates and reservation to be guaranteed.  If one of the roommates is no longer able to attend, the remaining traveler is responsible for covering the entire portion of the room, taxes and fees that was left unpaid by roommate, or that is due once second roommate is cancelled and the room turns to single occupancy.
